TempestSanity combines cave horror with supernatural storm chasing for Paper servers.
Features
- Cave sanity: Remaining underground in dim sky light slowly drains sanity.
- Storm resonance: Thunderstorms amplify sanity loss deep underground.
- Hallucinations: Low sanity causes whispers, darkness, panic effects, and creatures only the affected player can see.
- Storm chasing: Stand beneath open sky during thunder to build storm charge.
- Tempest Wraiths: Full charge summons a custom phantom encounter with configurable health and cooldowns.
- Storm Shards: Defeat Wraiths to earn shards that restore sanity and grant a temporary cave ward.
- Recovery: Sunlight and nearby lit campfires restore sanity naturally.
- Persistent progress: Sanity and ward state survive reconnects and server restarts.
- Configurable: Tune drain rates, thresholds, effect chances, boss health, rewards, and cooldowns.

Commands
/tempestsanity status— view sanity, storm charge, and ward time./tempestsanity help— view gameplay instructions./tempestsanity reload— reload configuration./tempestsanity giveshard <player> [amount]— give Storm Shards./tempestsanity storm <start|stop>— control the current world's storm.
Administrative commands require the tempestsanity.admin permission.
