PowerSystem is a complete, modular energy framework for Paper servers (1.20.x). It introduces generators, batteries, cables, and machines connected through automatic, performant energy networks.
✨ Key Features
- 5 generator types: Coal, Solar Panel, Wind Turbine, Advanced Generator, and Nuclear Generator (optional, with temperature management and meltdown risk)
- Configurable batteries: capacity, input/output, efficiency
- 4 cable tiers: Basic, Advanced, Elite, Ultimate — each with different capacity, energy loss, and range
- Automatic energy networks: every network has a unique ID and automatically merges or splits as cables are connected or removed
- Dedicated GUI for every machine showing a live energy bar, input, output, and capacity
- Public API (
PowerSystemAPI) for developers: create generators, batteries, networks, and custom machines from other plugins - Optional SQLite persistence: your networks survive chunk unloads and server restarts
- Performance-first: no block-by-block checks every tick — network topology only updates when the network actually changes
⚙️ Configuration
Everything is customizable in config.yml: production and capacity for each generator, battery parameters, tick interval, and toggles for the nuclear generator and SQLite storage.
🔌 For Developers
PowerSystem exposes PowerSystemAPI so any other plugin can create custom generators, batteries, cables, and machines. Full API documentation is available in the project repository.
