qAntiBot
Lightweight anti-bot plugin with visual captcha verification. Protects your Minecraft server from automated accounts and bot networks using a 3-round block-finding challenge.
Why qAntiBot?
Most anti-bot plugins rely on invisible checks or text-based captchas that bots can easily bypass. qAntiBot uses a visual GUI-based captcha — players must identify and click the correct block from a shuffled inventory. This approach is simple for humans but difficult for automated scripts.
How it works
- Player joins the server
- A GUI opens with 45 shuffled blocks and a title showing which block to find
- Player has 10 seconds (configurable) to click the correct item
- After 3 successful rounds, player is verified
- Verified players don't see captcha again for the immunity period
Configuration
All settings can be customized in config.yml:
- Time per round — how many seconds to solve each captcha round
- Max kicks before ban — how many failures trigger an IP ban
- Ban duration — how long the ban lasts (in minutes)
- Immunity days — how long verified players skip captcha
- Messages — all text and colors are fully customizable
- Items — add or remove blocks from the captcha pool
