The Wax Gourd Mod (26.2, 1.20.1) – Grow Giant Hanging Ancient Melons

The Wax Gourd Mod adds giant ancient winter melons unearthed by Sniffers. This mod expands your crop collection with new plants, wooden building blocks, tasty snacks, and decorative lights. You can hang seedling vines from ceilings, grow huge melon blocks, and turn your harvests into golden food items.

Features:

• Sniffers can dig up ancient melon vine seedlings from dirt and grass.
• Vine seedlings attach to ceilings and grow downward into massive melon crops.
• Bone meal can speed up melon growth to give you quick harvests.
• Giant melon blocks break down into small edible melon slices that restore hunger.
• Melon blocks function like wooden planks for crafting and building.
• Winter melon stems work as solid furnace fuel for cooking and smelting.
• Small melons combine with gold ingots to create Golden Winter Melons.
• Slime jelly blocks let you bounce high just like vanilla slime blocks.
• Melon candles provide soft light and give you speed and strength boosts when lit.
• Deep sea and Nether melon variants add exotic plants across different dimensions.

How to Use:

1. Let a Sniffer dig the ground to find ancient melon seeds.
2. Place the melon vine seedling on the underside of a ceiling block.
3. Use bone meal on the vine until a full melon block grows.
4. Break the giant melon with a tool to collect food and building materials.
5. Craft harvested melon pieces into candles, golden snacks, or planks.
