Ultimate RPG: Hardcore Classes

Whats up guys racing raftaar here. Today i am bringing you guys something massive. I have been playing a lot of rpg games lately and i realized minecraft survival is just too simple. You get diamond armor and then there is no real challenge left.

So i spent weeks working on the RR Ultimate RPG addon. This is not just a small mod, it is a complete overhaul of how you play the game. It adds a full class system, skill points, magic weapons and actual active abilities that you can use in combat. I wanted to make something hardcore where you actually have to grind and earn your power instead of just mining for an hour.

Class System and Weapons

When you first join your world the game gives you a welcome message and a skill book. When you open it you get to choose your path. There are 3 classes right now. Warrior for heavy defense and melee, Mage for magic and long range attacks, and Assassin for speed and stealth.

Each class has its own dedicated weapon. The warrior gets a Battleaxe, the mage gets a Fire Wand and the assassin gets a Shadow Dagger. You can only use the weapon meant for your class so choose very wisely.

Smart Kill Economy and Skill Points

The whole addon runs on an economy system called Skill Points or SP. You dont get SP by just mining or farming. You have to fight. But i made it very smart. If you kill innocent passive animals like cows or pigs the game yells at you and gives you zero points. Weapons are for monsters. Basic mobs give you some points but harder tier mobs like endermen or blazes give you 5 points.

If you manage to kill a boss like the wither or dragon you get a massive 50 SP and it announces your epic victory to the whole server. Also there is PvP. Killing your friends gives you 5 points. But be careful because if you die you get a death penalty and lose 2 SP. I also added class traits so if you get a stealth kill as an assassin or a long range kill as a mage you get bonus points.

The 3 Power System

This is my favorite part. Your weapons are not just for hitting things. Each class weapon has 3 unique magic powers. To choose a power you just sneak and use your weapon. A UI menu opens up showing your available skills. The warrior can use Whirlwind to smash enemies in a circle or Iron Skin to become a tank.

The mage can drop a Meteor or shoot a Solar Blast. The assassin can use Shadow Step to turn invisible and run super fast or Leech Strike to drain health from enemies. The first power you choose is completely free. But if you want to switch your active power later it will cost you 300 SP. You can only have one power active at a time so you have to think about your combat strategy. Once a power is selected you just use the weapon normally to activate it.

Hardcore Crafting and Shop

I wanted this addon to be actually hard. So I added a Crafting Gate. You can try to craft the Battleaxe or Shadow Dagger in the crafting table but if you dont have 10000 SP the game will literally block you. It takes the weapon back, refunds all your diamonds and sticks, and plays an error sound. You have to grind and prove you are worthy before you can hold these weapons. Also the Mage Fire Wand cannot be crafted at all. You can only buy it from the Hardcore Shop in your master menu using your 10000 SP.

Menus and Items

When you spawn you get a Skill Book and an Amnesia Scroll. You cant drop them because the game automatically gives them back if you lose them so anti drop is built in. Holding the skill book opens the Master Hub where you can see your profile, your exact SP balance, the hardcore shop, a help guide, and a live server leaderboard. The amnesia scroll is very dangerous. If you get bored of your class you can use the scroll to reset everything. But it deletes your class and wipes your SP down to zero so you have to start all over again.

How to Apply in Minecraft

Installing this is super easy. Just download the addon file and tap on it so it imports into minecraft automatically. Then go to your world settings and apply the RR Ultimate RPG addon in your behavior packs. Since everything is handled by scripts you dont even need a resource pack for this one to work, just activate the addon and you are good to play.

Beta APIs Setup

Because this addon uses massive background scripts for the 3 power system, the smart economy tracking, the anti drop fallback and all the custom UI menus, you absolutely must turn on the Beta APIs experiment in your world. If you forget to enable this the skill book will not open and the powers will simply not work at all.
