Sculk_Spread_JoJo_texture

This addon turns sculk into a spreading infection. Existing sculk blocks infect nearby blocks within a 40×40×40 area around the player.

Spreading

Up to 8 blocks can be infected per cycle

Spreads every 4 seconds

Strong blocks such as obsidian, bedrock and ancient debris cannot be infected

An indestructible sculk source appears at X=0, Z=0

The 3×3 chunks around 0,0 are always loaded, so sculk keeps growing there even when nobody is nearby

Spores (new)

Every 4 seconds (80 ticks) the catalyst closest to the player releases a spore in a random direction

The spore flies up to 50 blocks and leaves a sculk vein where it lands

If the spore flies off into the sky and hits nothing, a vein appears on the block directly below (or above) the point where it disappeared. If there are no blocks there, the nearest block is used

Wardens

Sculk Shriekers can cause Wardens to spawn

Every Warden that spawns through a shrieker is named "jojofag"

Works in any dimension. In dimensions other than the Overworld, place a catalyst by hand to start the infection

/scriptevent sculk:infect — creates a catalyst under the player

/scriptevent sculk:spore — launches a spore right now and shows which catalyst was found
