ClaimsForge is free chunk-based land protection for Paper and Spigot, from 1.17 to 26.x. A player stands where they built, runs /claim, and that chunk is theirs. They can trust friends at four levels, switch PvP, mob spawning and explosions per claim, and manage everything from a menu.
How it works in play
- Claiming: /claim takes the chunk you're standing in and /unclaim gives it back. A title confirms it.
- What's protected: breaking and placing blocks, doors, levers, buttons and containers, fire spread and burning, creeper, TNT and bed explosions, and pistons pushing or pulling across the border. PvP inside claims is off by default.
- Trust: /claim trust <player> <level> with interact, container, build or all. Build lets a friend place and break blocks without opening your chests. /claim untrust takes it back.
- Borders: /claim show outlines the claim in particles for ten seconds; /claim show all outlines every claim you own.
- Entry titles: walking into a claim shows the owner's name, and walking out shows that you're back in the wild.
The menus
- Your claims (/claim list): every claim you own, with its world, chunk, centre and number of trusted players. Click one to manage it.
- Manage claim (/claim manage): claim info, trust and untrust, borders, flags and unclaim. Unclaiming asks for confirmation.
- Flags: PvP, mob spawning and explosions, switched on or off for that claim. Claims without their own setting use the server defaults in config.yml.
How to use it
- Install: drop the jar into /plugins, restart once and it's ready. English is the default; set language: es for Spanish.
- Set the limits: 10 claims per player by default, 25 with claimsforge.limit.vip and 50 with claimsforge.limit.premium. A numeric node such as claimsforge.limit.40 sets an exact number.
- Optional cost: turn on cost.enabled to charge Vault money for each claim (100 by default).
- Optional maps: with Dynmap or BlueMap installed, claims are drawn on the web map in the colour and opacity you set.
Commands and permissions
- Everyone (claimsforge.use): /claim, /unclaim, /claim info, /claim list, /claim manage, /claim show [all], /claim trust, /claim untrust.
- Operators (claimsforge.admin): /claim admin info and /claim admin unclaim for any claim.
- claimsforge.bypass ignores claim protection. claimsforge.limit.<tier|number> raises the claim limit.
Placeholders
With PlaceholderAPI installed: %claimsforge_count%, %claimsforge_limit% and %claimsforge_in_claim_of% (whose land the player is standing on).
Requirements
- Paper or Spigot from 1.17 to 26.x, forks like Purpur included, on the Java version your server already uses.
- Optional: Vault (claim cost), PlaceholderAPI (placeholders), Dynmap or BlueMap (claims on the web map) and ParticleForge (effects when you claim, unclaim, trust someone or walk into your own land).

Can other plugins check who owns a chunk?
