copperboost is an experimental vanilla‑plus mod for NeoForge 1.21.1.

This mod is human‑led. AI is only used to generate partial boilerplate code and assist error analysis. All gameplay‑mechanism design, balance decisions and in‑game testing are done manually by the author. This mod is not AI‑driven.

Overview

This mod adds a new survival progression path centered on meteorite metal. It introduces world‑generated meteorite ore and a full set of tools and armors upgradable via the smithing table.

Meteorite ore is rare. It generates from Y=‑64 up to Y=44, peaking around Y=‑9. Each chunk attempts to spawn only one ore cluster containing 1‑3 ore blocks. Fortune does not affect its drops. Ore can be smelted into meteorite grains for equipment upgrading.

High‑tier compressed‑meteorite armor grants powerful combat bonuses (Resistance II and +16 max health), at the cost of built‑in negative debuffs. You may further smith it into lightweight compressed‑meteorite armor to remove those penalties.

All crafting and smithing recipes can be viewed in‑game with recipe viewers such as JEI / REI. Item attributes are shown in item tooltips. For full precise stat values, tooltip‑enhancement client‑side mods are recommended.

Expands vanilla‑style survival progression, offering late‑game armor choices with trade‑offs and gameplay trade‑offs. This project also serves as a real‑world example of human‑led mod development with AI assistance.

Before you download

‑ This is the first release. Bugs or logical issues may exist; balance adjustments in future updates are expected. ‑ Supports NeoForge 1.21.1 only. Crashes may occur on mismatched NeoForge builds. Please use a recent stable NeoForge version. ‑ Mandatory dependencies: AttributeFix and Armour Rebalance. Without them, high armor values and toughness from this mod will not work correctly. Overflowing Bars is recommended to visualize armor values above 20.

整体介绍

本模组围绕陨铁新增一套生存成长路线。添加主世界生成的陨铁矿石，一整套可通过锻造台不断升级的工具与盔甲。

陨铁矿石很稀有，生成在44~-64层，高峰在-9层。在一个区块内仅尝试生成1矿簇，一矿簇1-3个。且掉落不受时运影响，熔炉可以烧练成陨铁粒，它可用于升级装备。

高阶的压缩陨铁甲可以带来很强的战斗增益（玩家会获得抗性2和生命上限加16的效果），但穿戴时会附带对应的负面代价。玩家可以进一步将其锻造成轻量压缩陨铁盔甲，以此消除这些负面效果。

所有合成配方、升级路线，可在游戏内通过 JEI / REI 等配方查询模组查看。 物品的属性在手持物品时会显示在物品提示框；想要查看完整精确的属性数字，建议搭配增强提示类客户端模组。

拓展原版风格的生存成长线，为后期游戏带来有取舍、有博弈的盔甲玩法选择。 本项目同时也是一份人主导、AI辅助进行模组开发的真实实践案例。

下载前须知

‑当前为第一版本，可能存在bug、逻辑问题，后续平衡调整属于正常情况。 ‑模组现仅支持NeoForge 1.21.1。不同NeoForge构建版本加载有可能出现崩溃，建议选用相对稳定的NeoForge最新版本。 ‑必选前置为AttributeFix和Armour Rebalance。否则模组的高护甲值和高韧性无法正常生效。建议搭配Overflowing Bars模组以观察大于20点的护甲值。
