VanishMax
A hierarchical staff vanish plugin for Paper and Folia servers.
Unlike simple vanish plugins that just hide a player from everyone, VanishMax uses a rank-based visibility system: vanished staff stay invisible to lower-ranked players and regular users, but remain visible (with a [Vanish] tag) to staff of equal or higher rank. This means your whole team can see who's actually online and vanished, without exposing that to players below them.
Features
- Hierarchical visibility — define as many permission levels as you want in
config.yml, each with its own rank. Higher rank sees lower rank's vanish state. - Full damage immunity while vanished — no fall damage, fire, drowning, mob damage, or PvP damage.
/killstill works, so you can still remove a vanished player if needed. - Mob AI ignores vanished players — hostile and neutral mobs won't target you while vanished.
- Automatic Fire Resistance + Night Vision while vanished, restored to your prior state (not just removed) when you unvanish — so if you already had Night Vision from a potion, it won't get stripped.
- Persists across restarts and relogs — your vanish state is saved and re-applied when you rejoin.
- PlaceholderAPI support —
%vanishmax_vanished%for showing a vanish tag in TAB or other placeholder-driven plugins. - Folia-native — built entirely on the Folia region scheduler API, so it works correctly on both regular Paper and Folia without any code changes.
