The Ghost Add-on for Minecraft

Adds a new supernatural mob, The Ghost, that stalks and hunts players using EMF activity; includes an EMF reader item, configurable commands, break-ins, and survival mechanics.

The Ghost

This mod adds a new entity to your world: the Ghost. The Ghost will stalk you throughout your world, hunting players. You can monitor how active the Ghost is with the EMF reader. EMF level 0 means low activity, and level 5 means very high activity.

Breaking News

Occasionally you can receive updates via chat (up to two updates). These notifications warn you about increased Ghost activity. Make sure a Ghost doesn't break into your house — if it does, it can kill you in-game.

Break-ins

Sometimes you may get a message saying a break-in is scheduled for tonight. When that happens, a Ghost will spawn during the night. The best way to survive is to hide behind thick walls and crouch. If you have block-breaking enabled for the Ghost, you may still get discovered.

Hunts

Hunts occur randomly, most often when your EMF level is high. A Ghost will spawn and slowly move toward you. Hide in thick-walled areas, crouch, or squeeze into crawl spaces. Hunts typically last about 1–32 seconds.

EMF

The EMF Reader is an item you receive when you join; it can also be crafted. It detects how active the Ghost is and indicates the likelihood of stalks, hunts, and other events.

Commands

Use the /ghost command to view available commands. Key commands include:

• /ghost — Show all Ghost commands.
• /ghost:config — Edit settings such as anger level, whether the Ghost breaks blocks, and other options.
• /ghost:news — Display current notifications in text (legacy behavior; may be removed).
• /ghost:break_in — Queue a break-in for tonight.
