What Does It Do?

When a player runs /rtp or /rtpgui, the plugin checks their client type and protocol version to present the most suitable interface:

1. Modern Java Edition (Paper Dialog API)

• Renders a centered 3D rotating block corresponding to the destination world (Grass Block for Overworld, Netherrack for Nether, End Stone for The End).
• Dynamically updates the 3D rotating block when the player toggles between world options.
• Displays rich world lore, teleport scan radius, and safe-landing badges inside the dialog body.

2. Bedrock / PE Players (Floodgate + Geyser)

• Automatically recognized through the Floodgate API.
• Opens a native Bedrock SimpleForm containing custom texture icons and responsive action buttons with zero input lag.

3. Legacy Java Players (ViaVersion Fallback)

• Players joining from older Minecraft versions that lack Dialog API packet support receive a standard 27-slot chest inventory with click protections enabled to prevent kicks, packet drops, or client crashes.

Before installing, make sure your server environment meets the following requirements:

• Server Core: Paper, Purpur, or compatible forks running 1.21+ on Java 21.
• Required Dependency: BetterRTP must be installed and running on your server.

Commands & Permissions

• /rtp or /rtpgui — Opens the random teleport menu for the executing player.
  • cappyrtp.use — Required to use the command.
  • cappyrtp.world.overworld — Allows selecting and teleporting to the Overworld.
  • cappyrtp.world.nether — Allows selecting and teleporting to the Nether.
  • cappyrtp.world.end — Allows selecting and teleporting to The End.

Installation

1. Verify that your server is running Paper 1.21+ and that BetterRTP is active.
2. Download the latest CappyRTPGUI.jar and place it into your server's plugins/ directory.
3. Restart the server to generate the configuration files.
4. Customize world names, text formatting, and lore inside plugins/CappyRTPGUI/config.yml and bedrock_gui.yml.

This plugin uses bStats to collect anonymous server statistics such as Java version, server software, and player counts. This data helps the developer understand version adoption and guide future updates.
