Transparent (Non-moving Flowing Glass) GUI Resource Pack
This resource pack removes the solid dark background of Minecraft's default GUI, making inventory, container and interaction menu backgrounds fully transparent.
What it changes
- Player inventory / backpack screen background
- Chest, barrel and other container GUI backgrounds
- Right-click interaction UI backgrounds
What it does NOT change
- No modification to item textures, font, or GUI borders
- Only the dark background layer is made transparent
- Maintains vanilla Minecraft style
Supported version
Minecraft Java Edition: 1.20.5+
Installation
- Download the resource pack zip file.
- Place the zip file into your Minecraft
resourcepacksfolder. - Launch Minecraft, open resource pack settings.
- Enable this resource pack and move it above other texture packs if needed.
Notes
This pack only edits GUI background textures. It does not require any mods or loaders.
