What is WTempFly?
WTempFly gives every player a pool of flight time (in seconds). The pool only counts down while flight is switched on. Players can never type their own duration. Time is handed out by admins or by other plugins (shops, quests, crates, votes...). While flying, players can show a particle effect that they choose in a menu.

Features

• Temporary flight – a countdown that only runs while flight is ON.
• Time pool per player – saved by UUID, so it survives name changes and restarts.
• ActionBar countdown – shows the remaining time while flying, fully configurable.
• Fall protection – when time runs out mid-air the player takes no fall damage for a few seconds (configurable).
• Particle Cosmetics – a GUI with 16 ready-made effects, rarities, locked/unlocked items, pagination and per-particle permissions.
• Safe by design – wall-clock countdown (rapid on/off toggling cannot cheat the timer), crash recovery (flight is taken away after a crash), the player's original flight state is restored, Creative/Spectator players are never touched.
• World / game mode handling – optionally keeps flying after a world change; flight is switched off on game mode change; time is kept.
• Fast and light – one central task for all players, async SQLite with caching and autosave, no database access while drawing particles.
• Fully configurable messages – every message is in messages.yml, colours with & codes and HEX (&#RRGGBB).
• Developer API + events and optional PlaceholderAPI support.
• Standalone – no other plugin required.

Particle Cosmetics
Players open the menu with /tempfly particles, pick an effect and it is shown around them while WTempFly is ON. The choice is saved per player (UUID).

• 16 default effects: cloud, flame, end rod, heart, enchant, soul fire flame, electric spark, totem of undying, crit, note, portal, witch, dragon breath, lava, water splash, snowflake.
• 9 display modes: TRAIL, AURA, RING, HELIX, WINGS, FEET, HEAD, ORBIT, SPIRAL.
• Rarities: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic – with optional glow in the menu.
• Every particle has its own permission (wtempfly.particle.<id>) or can be free for everyone. wtempfly.particle.* unlocks all.
• Locked particles are shown with a lock item and the permission needed – great for ranks, crates and donor perks.
• Add, remove or change effects in config.yml: type, mode, rarity, icon, permission, count, interval, radius, height, speed, lore.
• Menu is configurable too: title, size, filler, slots, items, names and lore, with pagination.
• If a player loses the permission, the particle is switched off automatically.
• Particles are only drawn while flying, hidden when the player is invisible (configurable). Optional force-visible for players with reduced particle settings.

Time format: s, m, h, d and combinations – 30s, 10m, 1h30m, 2d5h30m.
Players cannot type a duration themselves – there is no /tempfly 10m.

Developer API
Events: TempFlyActivateEvent (cancellable), TempFlyDeactivateEvent (with reason), TempFlyParticleSelectEvent (cancellable), TempFlyParticleChangeEvent. Perfect for connecting shops, quests, crates or vote rewards.

Installation

1. Stop the server and put WTempFly-1.0.0.jar into /plugins.
2. Start the server – config.yml, messages.yml and data.db are created in /plugins/WTempFly.
3. Give players time: /tempfly give <player> 30m
