The Ice Warrior Mod (26.3, 1.21.1) – Conquer a Multi-Phase Boss in Frozen Towers

The Ice Warrior Mod introduces a mid-game frozen boss encounter to cold biomes in your world. It adds a dedicated tower structure where you can awaken and battle this frosty enemy across multiple combat phases. The mod also tracks your progress through custom advancements and lets you test your combat skills against harder variants.

Features:

• Ice Guard Tower: Spawns naturally in Ice Spikes biomes as the home of the frozen boss.
• Spawns the boss trapped in an ice block inside the tower until you melt it free with a lava bucket.
• Adds a 170 health boss encounter that builds combo attacks whenever it lands a hit on you.
• Resets the enemy combo counter back to zero every time you successfully dodge an incoming strike.
• Features custom advancements to guide you through finding and defeating the boss.
• Lets you craft a structure explorer map by dropping a Woodland Explorer Map into powder snow.
• Includes an enraged summoning method by dropping an Ice Warrior Head near the boss during its awakening.

Boss Phases:

• Phase One: The boss attacks using fast melee ice claws at full health.
• Phase Two: Triggers at 50% health, equipping the boss with a deadly trident.
• Master Variant: A powerful version summoned only after conquering an enraged boss.

How to Use:

1. Drop a Woodland Explorer Map into powder snow to craft a special map leading to the ice tower.
2. Travel to the Ice Spikes biome and enter the Ice Guard Tower structure.
3. Right-click the frozen boss block using a lava bucket to melt the ice and start the fight.
4. Dodge incoming claw strikes and trident attacks to keep the boss combo meter at zero.

Commands:

• /function icewarrior:admin/_/config: opens the mod configuration.
• /function icewarrior:admin/_/summon: spawns the active boss at your location.
• /function icewarrior:boss_summoner/summon: spawns the boss encased in ice.
• /execute as <entity> run function icewarrior:set_target: changes the boss attack target.
