Pages are powered by hidden container entities serialized directly into world-persisted structures. Nothing relies on fragile command blocks, scoreboards, or datapack functions.
Your items exist as real item stacks in real inventories — preserving enchantments, custom names, durability, and NBT data exactly as intended.
