Tandem Saddlebag Tactics Mod (26.2, 1.20.1) – Ride Together with Storage

Tandem Saddlebag Tactics Mod brings two-player riding and portable chest storage to regular horses. It lets a friend hop onto the back of your mount while you stay in full control of steering. You can also attach a storage chest directly to tamed mounts for extra inventory room on long trips. The mod includes first-person view adjustments that keep your screen clear while riding across terrain.

Features:

• Lets two players ride the same horse at the same time, with the front rider steering.
• Attaches twenty-seven slots of chest storage to any tamed horse.
• Drops all stored chest items onto the ground if the horse dies.
• Tilts the horse head down in first-person view to keep your forward vision clear.
• Fades the horse model to transparent when you look straight down to help you see steep drops.
• Lets you turn your camera up to ninety degrees left or right while standing still without rotating the horse.
• Moves the passenger back so both riders do not overlap or clip into each other.
• Displays a saddlebag model on horses carrying chest storage.
• Functions on servers even when connected players do not have the client mod installed.

Configuration:

• multiRiding: toggles whether two players can ride one horse.
• secondRiderRequiresTamed: limits two-player riding strictly to tamed horses.
• horseChest: toggles the ability to attach storage chests to horses.

How to Use:

1. Hold a chest in your hand and right-click a tamed horse to attach storage.
2. Sneak and right-click the horse with an empty hand to open the chest inventory.
3. Mount a horse and have another player right-click the horse with an empty hand to hop on the back.
