💎 EVEN BETTER ORES+
📌 OVERVIEW
Even Better Ores+ is a massive visual overhaul that completely transforms Minecraft’s mining experience. This project strips away the flat, boring textures of vanilla mineral blocks. It replaces them with stunning, custom 3D JSON geometric models. Valuable materials now dynamically break through their stone casings, adding incredible depth and immersion to dark underground cave systems.
🛠️ VISUAL FEATURES & GEOMETRY
💎 Crystalline Minerals
- Diamond Ores: Sharp, geometric crystal shards project outward to catch ambient cave lighting.
- Emerald Ores: Clean, chiseled, and highly defined emerald matrices that stand out sharply.
🪙 Metallic & Coarse Veins
- Iron Ores: Rough, jagged, and raised metallic ridges that mimic real-world raw iron veins.
- Gold Ores: Smooth, glistening, high-relief nuggets embedded deep inside the stone layers.
- Coal Ores: Coarse, angular, fragment variations that give a rough and brittle texture.
🎯 ACCESSIBILITY & UTILITY
These unique 3D silhouettes act as an excellent accessibility feature. Because the minerals physically jut out from the block faces, players can instantly identify rare resources from afar or in total darkness. You no longer need to rely purely on color differences to tell blocks apart in low-light environments.
