Every biome has its locals. Now you'll recognize them.
Vanilla Variants: Biomes gives Creepers, Endermen, Slimes, Spiders, Skeletons and Zombies a new look for the places they live. Frosty mobs in the snow, sandy ones in the desert, autumn colors in the Dappled Forest, pink petals in the Cherry Grove and moss in the swamps. 🍂
Made from the original Minecraft models and textures, so everything still feels 100% vanilla.
❄️ Frosty
- Spawns in snowy biomes: Snowy Plains, Snowy Taiga, Grove, Snowy Slopes, Frozen Peaks and more
- Icy blue colors, snow on their heads and glowing ice-blue eyes on Endermen and Spiders
- Variants: Creeper, Enderman, Slime, Spider, Skeleton and Zombie
🏜️ Desert
- Spawns in deserts
- Sandy tones, dusty heads and warm amber eyes
- Variants: Creeper, Enderman, Slime and Spider (Zombies and Skeletons already have the Husk and the Parched!)
🍂 Autumn
- Spawns in the Dappled Forest, the new autumn biome
- Orange, red and golden colors, with fallen leaves on top
- Variants: Creeper, Enderman, Slime, Spider, Skeleton and Zombie
🌸 Cherry
- Spawns in Cherry Groves
- Soft pink tones, cherry petals on their heads and pink glowing eyes
- Variants: Creeper, Enderman, Slime, Spider, Skeleton and Zombie
🐸 Swamp
- Spawns in Swamps and Mangrove Swamps
- Murky greens, dripping moss and toxic-green eyes
- Variants: Creeper, Enderman, Slime, Spider, Skeleton and Zombie
⚙️ How it works
- 28 new variants, each one with its own spawn egg
- They keep all the vanilla behavior: explosions, teleporting, climbing, bows, armor, drops… nothing changes but the look
- They spawn on the surface and in the caves below their biome, in the dark, just like vanilla mobs
- Vanilla mobs still spawn too. The variants are just the most common ones in their biome
- Baby Zombies get their own variant textures too
- Slimes split into smaller slimes of the same variant
- Names translated into English and Portuguese
