Chatty Townfolk Mod (26.2, 1.21.1) – Villagers Comment on Daily Events

Chatty Townfolk Mod adds speech lines to villagers during different game events. Villagers send text messages in chat when you walk past them, right-click to trade, or when bad weather starts. The mod also makes them react when they take damage or pass away. It works across many languages and assigns distinct text colors to different villager professions.

• enableNormalPhrases: controls standard greeting and trade messages.
• enableHumorPhrases: turns funny chat lines on or off.
• enableNightPhrases: toggles villager comments during nighttime.
• enableRainPhrases: toggles villager remarks about rain.
• enableHitPhrases: triggers text whenever a villager gets hit.
• enableDeathPhrases: sends a message when a villager perishes.
• globalMessageCooldownTicks: sets the delay between chat messages in game ticks (160 ticks equals 8 seconds).
