Magical Warfare adds a magic system where elemental spells replace traditional weapons. It uses scripting APIs, so Experimental Features must be turned on.
The Mana Desert biome has brightly colored plants, skeletal dead branches and giant blooms and buds. Hitting blooms yields Mysterious Blooms for crafting Magic Crystals, and buds give Mana Buds. Its boss, the Mana Sentinel, drops blocks from above, summons mana zombies and fires homing projectiles. Magic crystals tied to each element are spread across biomes, from the Air Crystal in deserts to the Frost Crystal in icy lands. The skill system is not available from the start, and players have to track down crystals first.
