And it is not just watching.

 

It is learning. 🌲👁️

 

The Hunters is a Minecraft Bedrock horror addon created to turn normal survival into a full horror experience with stalking, chases, ambushes, jumpscares, learning behavior, custom animations, creepy sounds, and two completely different monsters: The Stalker and The Hunter.

🌲 THE STALKER

 

The Stalker does not immediately attack you.

 

First, it watches.

 

👁️ Hides around trees

⬅️ Peeks from the left

➡️ Peeks from the right

🌲 Moves between hiding spots

🧍 Sometimes stands completely in the open

👋 Can wave at you

👀 Freezes when you catch it watching

🌿 Can remove leaves blocking its view

🌑 Causes Darkness when it gets close

 

But if you get too close…

 

🏃 IT CHARGES.

 

At close range, the Stalker can attack you, jumpscare you, and even do something much worse…

❤️ IT CAN STEAL YOUR HEARTS

 

This is not normal damage.

 

The Stalker can literally remove one of your maximum hearts.

becomes

 

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

 

Now you only have 9 hearts maximum.

 

If another heart gets stolen:

Now you only have 8 maximum hearts. 😨

 

Eating food will not simply bring the missing heart back.

 

The heart itself is gone.

🧠 THE STALKER LEARNS ABOUT YOU

 

While it watches, it studies how you play.

 

It can pay attention to things such as:

 

👀 Which directions you usually look

🏃 Where you normally run

🔁 Repeated escape routes

🏠 Places you keep hiding

🧭 How you react when something approaches

 

And eventually…

 

the Stalker can pass that information to The Hunter. 😈

👹 THE HUNTER

 

The Hunter does not simply appear beside you.

 

It starts far away.

 

Very far away.

 

📍 900 blocks away…

 

📍 600 blocks away…

 

📍 300 blocks away…

 

It keeps getting closer.

 

And once it reaches you…

 

THE HUNT BEGINS.

🎯 THE HUNTER DOESN'T JUST FOLLOW YOU

 

The Hunter has different hunting strategies.

 

👁️ STALK — follows while staying less obvious

⚡ RUSH — runs straight toward you

↔️ FLANK — comes from another direction

🎯 INTERCEPT — tries to reach where you are heading

🧠 PREDICT — guesses where you are going next

🏠 AMBUSH — can wait near places you repeatedly escape to

 

Keep running back to the same house?

 

Maybe the Hunter will eventually get there first. 😨

🏃 THE CHASE

 

When the Hunter fully commits to you…

 

RUN.

 

🏃 Fast pursuit

🌑 Stronger Darkness

🔊 Horror sounds

🎵 Chase music

🌊 Swimming

🧗 Climbing

🎯 Tracking

💨 Aggressive movement

 

It is meant to feel like something is genuinely hunting you, not just another normal Minecraft mob.

🪟 HIDING INSIDE MAY NOT SAVE YOU

 

The Hunter can attack weak parts of buildings.

 

💥 Glass

🚪 Doors

🪵 Wooden blocks

🚧 Fences

🪤 Trapdoors

 

Glass is especially dangerous.

 

You may be watching it from behind a window…

 

until the window is suddenly gone. 😈

😱 MULTIPLE JUMPSCARES

 

The Hunter has multiple scare events.

 

💀 CAUGHT JUMPSCARE

 

The Hunter finally reaches you after a chase.

 

🪟 BREACH JUMPSCARE

 

It breaks through a structure while you are nearby.

 

👁️ CORNER JUMPSCARE

 

You turn a corner…

 

and it is suddenly right there.

 

The Stalker also has its own jumpscare when attacking or stealing a heart.

👻 FAKE-OUTS

 

Not everything you hear is real.

 

Sometimes you may hear something behind you.

 

Sometimes you may think you saw the Hunter.

 

Sometimes…

 

there is nothing there.

 

👁️

 

Fake sounds and fake appearances are there to make you question every noise.

 

The next sound might be fake.

 

Or it might not be.

😵 FIGHTING BACK

 

The Hunter is dangerous, but you are not completely helpless.

 

Deal enough damage and it can become staggered.

 

💥 Hunter gets stunned

😵 Movement is interrupted

⏱️ You get a few seconds to escape

 

Do not stand around admiring your work.

 

RUN.

🌫️ LOST TRAIL

 

Sometimes the Hunter can temporarily lose you.

 

You may see:

 

“You've lost it. For now.”

 

That does not mean the hunt is finished.

 

It can begin searching again.

 

And when it finds you…

 

the chase continues.

🌑 WITHDRAWAL

 

If you survive long enough, the Hunter can eventually give up.

 

Instead of simply disappearing right in front of you, it attempts to move away, break your line of sight, and vanish.

 

One second it is there.

 

Then…

 

nothing. 🌲🌑

I created the Bedrock version, Bedrock systems, events, AI, animations, heart mechanics, commands, survival mechanics, and gameplay implementation.

 

However, Bock124 is the original owner and creator of the original Java mod, and the original idea, concept, monsters, and original experience all came from him.

 

This Bedrock version was created by me to bring that idea and experience to Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
