Quickstart:
1. In a world with cheats enabled, get the wand and its projectile:
- `/give @s com_giant_watchtower_mdl7hnc4:structure_wand`
- `/give @s com_giant_watchtower_mdl7hnc4:wand_projectile_item`
2. Keep the projectile item in your inventory or offhand, then use the wand to fire it at a block where you want the tower’s base to start. The projectile can also trigger the tower when it hits an entity.
3. Make plenty of room: the tower spans roughly 64 blocks across and rises about 128 blocks from the impact height. Wait for it to finish appearing, then explore its levels and chests.
2) Overview:
Giant Watchtower lets you place a towering structure with the Giant Watchtower Wand. The projectile’s impact point sets the tower’s position, so aim carefully and avoid placing it through builds or terrain you want to keep.
3) How To Use:
- Equip the wand and use it to fire; it does not need to be charged.
- Keep projectile items in your inventory or offhand so the wand can use them.
- Hitting a block or entity triggers the tower at the impact point. The projectile itself deals no damage.
- The structure builds block by block. Give it time to finish before exploring.
4) Abilities And Mechanics:
The tower has four cache levels. After placement, 16 chests are stocked across those levels.
Caches can contain iron, gold, or copper ingots; emeralds or diamonds; iron tools and weapons, with a chance of diamond gear; enchanted books; and supplies such as bread, arrows, golden apples, and torches. The contents vary between placements.
5) Progression And Strategy:
Place the tower on open, level ground and aim near ground height so its lower level is accessible. Bring food and torches to explore, and check each level for its chests.
