StackSpawners - Spawner Shop, Silk Touch and Stacking [1.20+]

StackSpawners gives your players a full spawner system in one lightweight plugin. They can buy spawners from a shop, pick them up again with Silk Touch, merge spawners into stacks, and the mobs they spawn are stacked too, so your server has fewer entities and less lag.

FEATURES

Spawner Shop: /spawnershop opens a GUI where players buy spawners with money. Left click buys 1, right click buys 8.

Silk Touch Spawners: Players can pick up placed spawners with a Silk Touch tool and keep the mob type. You can also make Silk Touch required.

Spawner Stacking: Placing a spawner next to one of the same type merges them into a stack. A stacked spawner spawns more mobs each cycle.

Easy Unstacking: Breaking a stacked spawner with Silk Touch removes one at a time. Sneak while breaking to take the whole stack.

Mob Stacking: Mobs from spawners merge with nearby mobs of the same type into one mob named like “Zombie x25”. Killing it removes one from the stack.

Fully Configurable: Change shop prices, mobs, stack limits, merge radius and all messages.

COMMANDS

/spawnershop - Opens the spawner shop (aliases: /spawners, /sshop)
/stackspawners reload - Reloads the config

PERMISSIONS

stackspawners.shop - Use /spawnershop (default: everyone)
stackspawners.silktouch - Pick up spawners with Silk Touch (default: everyone)
stackspawners.admin - Use /stackspawners reload (default: OP)

REQUIREMENTS

Spigot or Paper 1.20 or newer
Java 17 or newer
Vault and an economy plugin

INSTALLATION

1. Install Vault and an economy plugin.
2. Put the StackSpawners jar in your plugins folder.
3. Restart the server.
4. Edit plugins/StackSpawners/config.yml and use /stackspawners reload.

CONFIG OPTIONS

radius - how close a spawner must be to merge into a stack
max-spawner-stack - biggest spawner stack allowed
max-mob-stack - biggest mob stack allowed
mob-merge-radius - how far mobs look for a stack to join
allow-break-without-silk-touch - set to false to require Silk Touch
shop spawners - list of mobs and their prices

KNOWN LIMITS

When a stacked mob is killed, the rest of the stack respawns at full health.
Drops are per kill, not multiplied by the stack size.
Spawner stack counts show in chat, not above the block.
