Item Upgrader

Turn one item into another with a custom interface and a chance-based roulette. The chance depends on the values of the items, so trading up is a gamble and trading sideways is safe.

 

Requirements: Minecraft Bedrock 26.50 or newer, and the experimental toggle Forthcoming Creator Features enabled in your world (Experiments, Add-On Creators section). No other experimental toggles are needed; Beta APIs is not required. See the screenshot in the gallery.

 

How to use

1. Craft the Item Upgrader block and place it.
2. Click the block (no sneaking) and put your item into its window.
3. Sneak + click the block to open the menu, then choose a target item and amount.
4. Press UPGRADE and watch the roulette. On success you get the target item; on failure the item is lost.

Features

• Searchable catalog of target items, sorted by value and grouped by family (stairs, slabs, tools, colored blocks...)
• Enchanted books (max level only), with rare ones like Mending and Fortune priced higher
• Roulette speed: Normal, Fast or Instant
• Repeat mode: repeat the same trade up to 64 times, taking the same batch from your inventory, with a summary in chat
• English and Russian interface (choose on first join, change any time in Search & settings)
• The Item Upgrader is not lost when you die
• Placement sound and particles
• Balanced values: ores cost slightly less than the smelted item, and tools up to diamond share one price

 

Installation

Import the .mcaddon file, enable both the Behavior Pack and the Resource Pack in your world, and turn on Forthcoming Creator Features in Experiments. Settings (language, roulette speed, repeats) are in the menu: Search & settings.

 

Known issues

• Some icons (stairs, slabs, walls and items without a texture) are hand-drawn approximations.
• The preview item in the block window can be picked up for a moment; it disappears immediately.

Блок для обмена предметов с шансом, зависящим от ценности предметов. Положите предмет в окно блока (обычный клик), присед + клик открывает меню выбора цели и рулетку.

Нужно: Minecraft Bedrock 26.50 или новее и включённый эксперимент «Forthcoming Creator Features» в мире. Остальные эксперименты (в том числе Beta APIs) включать не нужно. Включите оба пака, поведения и ресурсов.

Рецепт: железо, золото, железо / аметист, редстоун, аметист / железо, золото, железо. Есть зачарованные книги, три скорости рулетки, повтор обмена до 64 раз, русский и английский языки. Настройки: меню → Поиск.
