# Iron Furnaces — Bedrock Edition

A Bedrock port of the Iron Furnaces mod: a whole line of upgradable furnaces with their own interface, augments and energy system.

## Features

- **9 furnace tiers:** Iron, Copper, Gold, Diamond, Emerald, Crystal, Obsidian, Netherite and the Million (Rainbow) Furnace. Each tier cooks faster than the last.

- **Seasonal skins:** Spooky and Xmas variants.

- **Upgrades:** use an upgrade item on a furnace to move it up a tier in place. Items, energy and progress are kept.

- **Augments (Red / Green / Blue slots):**

  - Speed: cooks twice as fast.

  - Fuel: +25% fuel efficiency.

  - Blasting / Smoking: turns the furnace into a blast furnace or smoker.

  - Factory: 6 parallel smelting slots.

  - Generator: burns items to generate RF.

- **Custom interface:** a real slot grid with a progress bar, one layout each for Normal, Generator and Factory.

- **Face configuration:** set each of the 6 faces to import, export or fuel-only. The furnace pulls and pushes items on its own, with no redstone needed.

- **Redstone:** a comparator reads the furnace while it burns, and a button turns it on and off.

- **Energy (RF):** capacity scales with tier. Energy enters through any face.

- **Rainbow generator:** the Million Furnace produces large amounts of energy once its owner meets the requirements.

- **Special items:** Heater, Wireless Energy Heater, Rainbow Coal, Rainbow Plating and Rainbow Core.

- **Crafting and loot:** craft and upgrade recipes plus loot tables for every furnace.

- **Languages:** English, Portuguese (pt_BR) and Spanish (es_ES, es_MX).

## [UtilityCraft](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft-bedrock/addons/utilitycraft) compatibility

- **Item cables:** UtilityCraft exporters and importers placed on an active face move items in and out of the furnace.

- **Machines and storage:** furnaces can import from and export to barrels, hoppers, chests (export only), UtilityCraft machines and storage drawers.

- **Energy cables:** furnaces receive energy through UtilityCraft energy cables (Factory layout only).

- **Energy output:** Generator furnaces and the Rainbow generator deliver energy to UtilityCraft machines, directly or through the cable network.

- **Large values:** UtilityCraft energy values above 1 billion (exponent notation) are supported.

## For add-on creators

Other add-ons can register recipes, fuels and containers at any time with `/scriptevent`, no restart needed:

- `dvs_iron_furnaces:register_recipe`

- `dvs_iron_furnaces:register_fuel`

- `dvs_iron_furnaces:register_container`

- `dvs_iron_furnaces:register_bulk`

## Requirements

Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.120 or newer. Enable the Beta APIs experiment if your version requires it. [UtilityCraft](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft-bedrock/addons/utilitycraft) is optional and only needed for the compatibility features.

## Credits
