DivineCollector — Per-chunk automatic collectors with upgrades and holograms
========================================================================
DivineCollector handles the gathering for you: place a collector in the chunk you want it to
work in and watch it gather ground drops, mob loot and mature crops within a configurable
radius. Upgrade its storage, sale multiplier, auto-sell speed and collection radius from an
in-game menu, without touching a config file (unless you want to add your own collector types).
A collector is given as an item that remembers its type. When you pick it up, the item keeps
its upgrades, statistics and stored contents inside it, so placing it again restores it as it
was. Placed collectors persist across restarts. Each collector is independent — stack them in
the same chunk or spread them across your territory. The menu shows the contents grouped by
material and paged automatically, with upgrade prices calculated in real time. Holograms show
the collector's status and use DivineHolograms if it is installed.
FEATURES
-----------------
- Per-chunk collectors: they gather ground items, mob drops and mature crops within a
configurable radius, always inside their own chunk.
- Four upgrade tracks: storage (10 levels in the bundled types), sale multiplier (multiplies the
money you earn when selling), timed auto-sell (the interval shortens with each level, from
600 s down to 60 s) and collection radius. Levels and prices live in plain YAML files, so you
can add more levels or your own collector types.
- Storage by quantity (not slots), grouped and paged automatically in the menu.
- Selling and upgrades through Vault, in one click; auto-sell deposits to the collector's owner.
- Pick up a collector and it keeps its upgrades, statistics and contents inside the item.
- Configurable blacklist to prevent collecting unwanted materials (bedrock, shulker boxes,
etc). Items with custom data (names, enchantments, potions...) are never collected.
- Per-rank limits on how many collectors a player may place.
- Holograms showing the current status, with DivineHolograms or native text displays.
- Cleans up after itself: on startup it removes stored contents and holograms that no collector
owns any more; a collector whose block vanished is returned as an item.
- Trust system: let other players use your collector (open it, take items, sell, upgrade);
only the owner or an admin can pick it up.
- PlaceholderAPI placeholders: collectors owned, allowed, slots left, stored items, stored value,
items sold and money made, plus counts per collector type and per material.
- /collector list: see your own collectors (type, position, stored/capacity); admins can look
at another player's.
- Optional cap on living entities inside a mob collector's radius (off by default).
- Folia-native: each collector's work runs on its own region and never reaches outside its chunk.
- SQLite (built in) or MySQL/MariaDB storage for persistence.
- Messages, commands and menus in 16 languages, detected per client.
REQUIREMENTS
-----------------
Paper 1.21.x or newer, Java 21+. Optional: Vault plus an economy plugin (needed for upgrades
and selling; collection works without them), DivineCore, DivineHolograms, PlaceholderAPI.
Vault itself does not run on Folia: on Folia, selling and upgrades need a Folia-compatible
Vault fork.
MAIN COMMANDS
----------------------
/collector give <player> <type> [amount]
— give a collector to an online player (admin).
/collector types — see available collector types.
/collector trust <player> — let a player use the collector you are looking at.
/collector untrust <player> — revoke that access.
/collector list [player] [page]
— list your collectors (another player's: admins only).
/divinecollector reload — reload config, types, prices and menus (admin).
Right-click a placed collector to open its menu.
/collector (no arguments) — help list; it also says what stays on the ground.
LANGUAGES
-----------------
16 languages supported: Spanish, English (US and UK), French, German, Portuguese (Brazil and
Portugal), Italian, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Dutch, Turkish
and Ukrainian. Languages are detected per client; they cover every message, command output and
menu. Holograms are a single text for all viewers and use the server default language, and
collector type names are the text you write in each type file.
LICENSE
-----------------
This community release is available at no cost and includes the features documented here.
Advanced editions and separately licensed Divine products may add capabilities later; this
listing does not promise the scope or pricing of future editions.
KNOWN LIMITS
------------
- Do not install it together with DivineChest, which already includes collectors (both
register the same commands).
- Collectors work only with vanilla materials; custom items from item plugins (ItemsAdder,
Oraxen, Nexo) are not supported, and items with custom data (named, enchanted, damaged,
potions, containers) are left on the ground.
- Collection happens per chunk: a collector only gathers from blocks and entities inside its own
chunk, even if its radius reaches further, and only while that chunk is loaded.
- The collector is a normal block (a chest by default) in the world; it is not invisible.
Right-clicking opens the collector menu instead of a chest, and hoppers cannot fill it.
- There is no claim system of its own: placement is refused wherever a protection or claim
plugin cancels block placing (WorldGuard tested). Ground items are collected whoever dropped
them, including a dead player's dropped inventory, so keep collectors out of PvP areas.
- The sale multiplier applies to money earned when selling; it does not multiply the items.
- The entity cap (mobs.entity-cap, off by default) only holds back new spawns inside a mob
collector's radius and its own chunk; it never removes mobs, and spawns made by other plugins
are not limited.
- MySQL storage was tested against MariaDB 11.4 through the standard MySQL driver; MySQL 8
itself was not run. The SQL avoids the deprecated VALUES(col) form and does not use
MariaDB-only syntax.
