Slightly Realistic Vanilla is a modpack that aims to make Minecraft slightly more realistic. Ever thought that trees not falling down, animals falling to the side when dying, liquids seemingly generating out of thin air, floating trees, and more, were all just a little too unrealistic for your tastes? This modpack fixes all of that, with its state-of-the-art realistic features that make Minecraft just that little bit closer to being a fully-accurate simulation of the real world! We recommend you eventually play this in VR, for the most realistic experience possible, instead of your lame ol' desktop computer.

🛠️ Features 🛠️

• New and improved liquid physics, as they now have actual volume, as well as proper splashes and water ripples!
• Blocks now turn into small chunks when broken!
• Will breaking a lot of blocks be incredibly annoying as physics objects entirely cover your screen and block your path? Yes! Just like real life!
• Controller support! I mean... why not though?
• Trees now entirely collapse when broken!
• Ambient sound effects now play in the background naturally, instead of a lack of music being deafeningly silent!
• Better rain and weather effects, with tilted rain that makes ripples in the water, and lighting strikes making the sky flash!
• New violent blood and gore effects when killing mobs (and also when you die)! Hooray!
• Phantoms don't naturally spawn by default! Because they suck!
• Explosion drop decay is also disabled by default now!
• Monster spawning isn't disabled by default though, because everyone knows that skeletons and spiders both exist in real life too!
• Items have proper physics when dropped!
• You can now walk while in the inventory and crafting menus!
• Terrain generation is now improved with Tectonic!
• You can see further in the distance thanks to Voxy!
• Third person is improved as you can now rotate the camera a full 360 degrees around you!
• Tools now get visibly more broken as their durability decreases!
• Food eating is now animated!
• You can zoom by pressing the C key! I mean, it's not realistic, I just thought it was cool.
• All items can be stacked up to 100, including non-stackable items! They're stackable now! (Except tools. We couldn't get those to stack for some reason.)
• The custom panorama I made kind of sucks because you can see the edges of the cubemap for whatever reason because of the shader, but I can't be bothered to fix it! For realism purposes!
• Improved overall lighting, with dynamic lighting from torches and dynamic shadows!
• A better blocklight system, with lights casting in a circle shape, and blocks actually obstruct the light, creating the illusion of soft shadows
• What? Coloured lighting? Of course it's not included! What are you, crazy?
• The blood also kinda glows in the dark. Unless you disable the shader, that is.
• Everything else is exactly the same!
