The Hollow Tally

It counts everything you do. Thirty days.

A survival-horror add-on for Minecraft Bedrock. A silent entity called The Counter starts watching the moment your world begins. It counts every block you break, every creature you kill, every night you sleep and every time you die. When the count reaches Day 30, it stops watching and comes for you.

The Countdown (Days 1–29)

The horror escalates in four stages as the days pass.

Stage	Days	What changes
1	1–2	Quiet. A few whispers.
2	3–9	It starts addressing you by name and quoting your stats. Riddles begin.
3	10–19	Glitched text, darkness, nausea, and heavier curses.
4	20–29	Constant pressure. Longer, stronger effects.

What you will experience

• Whispers in chat that quote your own numbers back at you
• Riddle signs that appear near you
• Footsteps behind you, torches snuffed out, fake "The Counter joined the game" messages
• Distant sightings of a 4.4-block-tall figure that vanishes if you stare at it
• Cracked Tally Stone footprints left wherever it walks
• Random status effects (slowness, darkness, nausea, weakness, hunger)

Your score

Total = blocks + (kills × 5) + (nights slept × 10) + (deaths × 25)

Use the Tally Tablet to check it at any time.

Rules of the Count

• Creative mode is forbidden. The Counter switches you back to Survival.
• Peaceful difficulty is forbidden from Day 30 and is forced back to Normal.

Day 30: The Final Counter

The sky darkens, thunder rolls, and The Counter (Final) appears with a boss bar and 600 HP.

Its abilities

• 👊 Melee: it hits you with its hands.
• 🔥 Mind-Fire: it sets you ablaze from a distance after a short warning.
• 💥 Mind-Blast: it detonates the spot where you stand. A warning ring appears first, so you can dodge.
• 🌀 Teleport: it can appear next to you anywhere in the world. Hiding underground does not help, because it breaks through the rock.
• 🕳️ Fissures carve trenches toward you, and Shatter destroys the blocks around you.
• 🏗️ Build high? It drops the floor from under you or shatters your build.
• 🧱 Run away? It raises a wall in front of you.
• 🌊 Swim? The sea freezes, and the ice slowly turns into Cracked Tally Stone.
• ⚡ Lightning fills the sky but is decoration only. It never lands near players or the boss.

Reward: the Tally Tablet and 6–12 diamonds.

Mercy & The Ban

You get 3 attempts against the Final Counter. Dying to any of its attacks counts as an attempt.

While you have attempts left

• It spares you.
• Everything you were carrying is returned.
• You get 4 minutes of rest.
• It warns you with a message like "Chances left: 2".

When your attempts run out

• It tells you: "You do not deserve to live in this world."
• You are banned. It kicks you on every join. In single player, where kicking is impossible, you are locked out with blindness and paralysis effects.

⚠️ This is a real ban. Back up your world before playing. During the fight, keepInventory is switched on automatically and restored to its original value afterwards.

Items & Blocks

Name	Description
Tally Tablet	Shows your Day, Blocks, Kills, Nights slept, Deaths, Total and Chances left. After the Counter is defeated, sneak + use to start a new Count.
Cracked Tally Stone	The Counter's footprint block. It glows faintly and mines in about 1.5 seconds.
Spawn The Counter	Spawns the invulnerable observer (1000 HP, cannot be damaged).
Spawn The Final Counter	Spawns the boss (600 HP).

Type these in chat with /.

/scriptevent tally:day <N>	Jumps to Day N
/scriptevent tally:final	Jumps to Day 30 and starts the final fight
/scriptevent tally:boss	Spawns the boss at once
/scriptevent tally:unban	Clears the ban list and your attempts
/scriptevent tally:freeze	Test: freezes the sea around you
/scriptevent tally:sight, sign, lightning, whisper, pressure	Trigger single events for testing

You can also use /function tally/start and /function tally/stop.

Tip: give a player the tag tally_free (/tag <name> add tally_free) to exempt them from the Creative lock.

Installation

1. Download the .mcaddon file and open it. Minecraft imports both packs.
2. Create or edit a world and activate both the Behavior Pack and the Resource Pack.
3. When updating, remove the old version from the world first, because worlds keep their own copy of a pack.

Best played in Survival, alone, at night, with the sound on.
