Open a portal to The Sift: a floating, procedurally generated dimension of pale willows, glass wastes, amber meadows and living ichor.

Gaveon – The Sift adds a brand-new dimension to Minecraft Bedrock, with its own terrain, biomes, blocks, fluid, creatures and a musical puzzle to unlock the way in. Everything is generated on the fly from your world seed.

🌀 Entering The Sift: the Sound Portal

There is no flint-and-steel here. The portal answers to music.

• Build a frame of Reinforced Deepslate (min. 2×3, up to 48 blocks across) around an empty space, or try on Ancient City!.
• Craft Echo Deepslate (8 Echo Shards around 1 Deepslate) and place a row of 8 Note Blocks on top of them, next to the portal. They turn into Sonorous Note Blocks.
• Tune each one to the right note, in the right order. Colored Note Beams shoot up into the sky as you get it right, and the portal wakes up with a melody.
• Stand inside the portal for a couple of seconds and the screen fades to teal as you cross over.

Coming back? The Sift has its own frame made of Reinforced Siftslate. Portals in both dimensions are linked and reused.

🌍 A Dimension in Layers

The Sift is a 3D, multi-tiered world: ground-level lands, deep caves and ravines, and floating plains stacked above, connected by pillars, ramps and bridges. Six biomes appear at different heights:

Biome	What you'll find
Blushlands	Pink Blush Turf, Rose Bristle and Redthorn. Found at every height.
Weepwood	Willow forests with Weepmoss Turf, Teal Grass, Dusk Sedge and towering white willows.
Duskfen	Low, damp wetlands of Dusk Turf, with ichor pools hidden in structures.
Glasswastes	Frosty Rimestone landscapes high in the sky, dotted with Rime Sprigs.
Carapace	A desert of Sift Sand and teal Sandstone, with giant fossils (skulls, ribcages, spines and tusks).
Emberfields	Orange meadows of Ember Turf, Ember Grass and Gold Sprouts.

Underground, stone shifts from Cinderrock to Umbrite, with veins of Rimestone and pockets of Siftslate where Iron and Gold ore grow.

🗿 Echo Golems, Singers and Souls

Deep in this world live the Echo Golems, ancient stone guardians powered by Soul Blocks.

• Singers wake dormant golems with a soul, in an animated ritual.
• Awakened golems dance in sync with nearby golems.
• Golems show damage as their health drops.
• Right-click a golem to take its soul: it walks to the nearest spot and settles into an Echo Golem Statue (also available in Creative).

🐾 New Creatures

• Blub: small critters with variants matching their habitat
• Nuzzle: a gentle herd animal of the Blushlands (drops leather)
• Pollinator: a bee-like creature of Weepwood (drops honeycomb)
• Seedling: sprout-like creatures that drop seeds
• Tuner and Prickle: residents of Duskfen
• Slabber: a jelly-bouncing, flower-topped blob that waddles up to lick you. Can be milked.
• Dartback: hostile, found in Glasswastes, Carapace and Emberfields
• Lootkin: a shy treasure carrier that drops gold nuggets and more. Scares easily, so be quick.

Nuzzles, Pollinators, Seedlings and Tuners can be tempted with wheat. All mobs have spawn eggs in Creative.

📦 Installation

1. Download the .mcaddon file and open it. Minecraft will import both packs automatically.
2. Create a new test world and activate both the Behavior Pack and the Resource Pack.
3. Make sure you're on Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.50 or newer.
4. Build the portal and have fun!

Requirements: Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.26.50+ (Scripting API @minecraft/server 2.10.0).
