Protect your server without remembering to back it up.
DrexBackups creates scheduled, compressed backups of your server files and sends them to your configured storage. Set your backup interval, choose what to include or exclude, and let the plugin handle the routine.
Features
- Automatic backups — Set an interval and startup delay, or trigger a backup manually.
- Compressed ZIP archives — Optionally save and flush the world before the backup begins.
- Choose what gets backed up — Configure folders and files to include, plus exact paths or glob patterns to skip.
- Flexible storage — Use Google Drive or Dropbox account linking, configure a WebDAV destination such as Nextcloud or ownCloud, or save to a local folder or mounted drive.
- Automatic retention — Set how many older backups to keep per destination.
- Backup browsing and recovery — List remote backups and download a named backup or the latest one. Downloads are extracted to a separate DrexRestore folder so you can choose what to restore.
- Admin controls and notifications — Check status, reload the config, and notify staff when backups run.

Requirements
Paper 26.1.2+ and Java 25+.
This build uses Paper-specific APIs and is not currently Spigot-compatible.
