Defense & Trap System v1.3.0

A defense and trap system add-on for Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
Adds arrow turrets, various traps, a magic tower, security cameras & monitors to strengthen your base defense.

Created as a sibling add-on of GachaNPC, but works completely standalone.
Includes a special mode that boosts performance when GachaNPC raiders (tag gachanpc\_raider) are nearby.

Main Features

 
• Arrow Turret – Automatically shoots nearby enemies. Requires arrows
 
• Flame Trap – Burns enemies that step on it (requires fuel)
 
• Spike Trap – Damage + slow (no fuel needed)
 
• Frost Trap – Slowness & weakness effects (no fuel needed)
 
• Mine – Explodes when stepped on by enemies (does not destroy blocks)
 
• Magic Tower – Fires magic bolts + applies Regeneration, Absorption, and Fire Resistance aura to nearby allies. Also boosts nearby turrets and traps
 
• Security Camera & Monitor – Link multiple cameras to a monitor and switch views
 
• Defense Manual – In-game guide with recipe book and detailed instructions

Upgrade & Repair System

 
• All defense structures can be upgraded (up to Lv.5), repaired, or removed via right-click menu
 
• Materials are consumed from your inventory
 
• Durability decreases when enemies approach or attack; reaches 0 and breaks (repair to restore)
 
• Removing returns a portion of upgrade materials

GachaNPC Compatibility

 
• When raiders are nearby, enters “Raid Mode” with increased power and half consumption
 
• Tag ally NPCs with gdef\_ally to include them in the Magic Tower aura
 
• Tag mobs with gdef\_ignore to exclude them from targeting

Requirements

 
• Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.21.0 or higher
 
• No experimental features required

Installation

 
1. Double-click the .mcaddon file or import via Settings → Storage
 
2. Enable both the Resource Pack and Behavior Pack in your world
