[!] IMPORTANT: Due to a bug causing the hand to appear transparent, you MUST use the No Shader shaderpack by default, as it fixes the issue with zero performance impact (any other shaderpack will also work).

Maximize your performance

This pack is optimized as much as possible without compromising gameplay or core visuals—from the choice of mods and shaders down to fine-tuned settings.

Improving performance:

The Render Scale mod is included exactly for this.

Pressing "O" in-game (or accessing it via Video Settings / Mod List) opens the render scaling menu.

From there, you can choose a resolution percentage (where 1.00 = Native Resolution). This will only lower your render resolution without breaking the crispness of your HUD, or GUI scaling.

The pack defaults to 10 Render Distance combined with a more optimized vanilla settings, which is more than enough when paired with Distant Horizons.

It also utilizes the default Distant Horizons settings since those are actually well-balanced nowadays, same goes for SSRD (Aeronautics x DH Addon) settings for rendering physics inside LODs.

Feel free to change these based on your own hardware!

Multiplayer

This is obviously really important. I've included two [2] different options for playing with friends:

• Essential Mod: The classic option that lets you host your world and invite friends directly.
• LAN World Plug-n-Play (mcwifipnp): A more vanilla-friendly alternative that utilizes the native LAN system (with pnp port forward) , doesn't require a friends system, and supports offline accounts.

we're using Tectonic combined with CliffTree, along with some create related structure mods and popular additions like When Dungeons Arise to make the worldgen feel alive.

Performance: i get around 70-80 FPS even with all Distant Horizons LODs fully loaded.
