Zoni's Companions Mod (1.20.1) – Build an Anime Combat Squad

Zoni’s Companions Mod introduces craftable devices that summon powerful characters to help you in battle. These allies can wear armor, hold weapons, and fight hostile mobs alongside you. Each character comes with a distinct combat perk, giving you useful buffs or weakening your enemies. If a companion falls in combat, they return safely to an empty device in your inventory so you never lose them permanently.

Features:

• Craft special summoning items to bring unique characters into your world.
• Equip your allies with swords, bows, and armor sets to prepare them for tough battles.
• Use the Companion Pendant to switch between making your allies follow you or stay in place.
• Feed Recover Pills to injured allies to restore their health quickly.
• Keep an empty Summon Device in your inventory to safely store and retrieve fallen partners.
• Capture and release any regular Minecraft mob with the Advanced Summon Device while keeping all mob data.

Companion Abilities:

• Jorge: Gains higher strength levels with each consecutive strike.
• Niomus: Recovers health with every landed hit.
• Nagako: Inflicts poison and wither effects on struck enemies.
• Bocchi: Gives regeneration to all nearby friendly targets.
• Asuna: Moves and attacks with extra speed.
• Eugeo: Freezes targets in place so they cannot move.
• Arlecchino: Heals herself upon hitting enemies.
• Hu Tao: Deals higher attack damage as her health gets lower.
• Jean: Launches enemy mobs high into the air.
• Klee: Has a chance to cause an explosion on hit.
• Eula: Has a chance to trigger explosive attacks.
• Melusine: Breaks through enemy shields and increases her attack strength.
• Astolfo: Weakens and slows targets with every attack.
• Mash: Holds permanent resistance and taunts enemies to draw their attacks.
• Zani: Weakens enemies so they take extra damage from all attacks.
• Derek: Places marks on targets that make them take extra damage.

How to Use:

1. Craft the Summon Device for the companion you want to bring into your world.
2. Use the device on the ground to spawn your character.
3. Equip your ally with weapons and armor pieces to boost their defense and attack power.
4. Hold the Companion Pendant and right-click to command your ally to follow or stop.
5. Use Recover Pills directly on hurt companions to heal them during fights.
6. Carry a spare empty device in your inventory so your companion can safely return if they run out of health.
