Inventory Spirits

Inventory Spirits is a unique take on a "gravestone" style mod focusing on compatibility and configurability!

Initially, the mod was born after being dissatisfied with existing gravestone/corpse mods, I found them ugly or that they didn't have the config options to make them work they way I wanted.

So I came up with this... well I wouldn't go as far to say "vanillia" style, but, uniquely styled "graves" instead. They are entities, and will float to a safer space in the event they end up in the void or lava. Options to control how many of these can exist in the world at once will come soon.

Functionality

Upon a player's death, an "Inventory Spirit" is created.

An inventory spirit spawning

An inventory spirit contains all the items and experience you had before death.

Inventory spirit gui

Crouch and right click to collect it!

Or punch it to break it open!

Current Mod Compatibility

Curios will properly be returned to the slot they were in before death, and will store inside spirits.

Cosmetic armor will properly be returned to the slot they were in before death, and will store inside spirits.

Spirits will attach to sub-levels if a player dies on one.

They generally act really weird against sub-levels outside of this, however.

Jade will display inventory spirit contents, experience as a bar, and change its name to the spirit owner.
