I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.
Icarus Reborn
“A tale of flight, ambition, and fate...”
Icarus Reborn introduces early-game wings that offer fireworks-free flight for players who want easier wings without the end dimension. A vanilla+ type mod.
Features
- Fireworks-Free Flight: Enter an elytra glide and press your forward key to accelerate in the direction you're looking.
- Two Wing Variants: Choose either sun-sensitive Wax Wings or the weaker but sun-resistant Resin Wings.
- Melting Mechanics: Flying too high with Wax Wings melts them, melting them to you until they cool down.
- Custom Enchantments & Advancements: Boost wing performance with custom flight enchantments and unlock new progression milestones.
Crafting
- Wax Wings: Honeycombs, feathers, string
- Resin Wings: Resin clumps, feathers, string
Melted Wax Wings
- If your Wax Wings melt from flying too close to the sun, you will enter a freefall and receive the Curse of Binding. Leave them on/equip them for 30 seconds to automatically revert them back to their original state.
Enchantments
Custom enchantments can be applied alongside standard Mending and vanilla curses:
- Daedalion (I - III): Stronger unbreaking (1.5x)
- Quickwing (I - III): Increases max flight velocity
- Hubris (I - II): Increases acceleration rate
Advancements
- Daedalus Reborn: Craft your first pair of wings.
- Icarus Reborn: Fly too close to the sun and melt your wings.
- Icarus Reforged: Wear melted wings through their cooldown and restore them.
