The best bloodbath mod ever

THE BLOODBATH

Something enormous walks this world. You will find out what. The Bloodbath is an analog horror add-on for Minecraft Bedrock, built from the analog horror video of the same name. A giant stalks your world. Every few minutes something worse happens.

THE STORY

It begins with a voice on an old radio tower. "This is Dev, on the old radio tower. Day 1. If you can hear me, stay inside tonight." Day by day, Dev records what he sees: roars like "thunder with a mouth," green acid that eats boots, a bunker no giant can tear open, and the dead that move when you blink. There are two giants. One of them saved him, and he doesn't know why. Then Dev goes silent. After the last day, someone else answers: "…it's still on."

Out in the world, there are survivors. There's a woman named Mara, who kept a pen of animals alive as long as she could. There's a creature called Cattus, who once had no one. And there's the Bloodbath, who is not what he seems. Use the in-game radio and find out.

THE DEAD LANDS

The world fills with what he leaves behind: bones, acid puddles, corpses, ruined houses, dead flocks in their pens, last-words signs, deepslate bunkers with supplies, giant ribcages and skulls, and Mara's survivor camp. Everything he does leaves scars on the land: footprints, scorched ground and dead earth.

SURVIVE

Acid burns. Make acid-proof boots, a mask and flasks. Hide in hay bales. Stay still, sneak, or shelter in a bunker. Gear: bone sword and chestplate, a camera (rate your photos of giants), a radio, a giant tracker, firecrackers to lure him away, and a bedroll. Your mind breaks: a hidden sanity system brings hallucinations, creeping fog, tremors, and music that rises with the danger. Graves: when you die, a gravestone keeps your things. A friend can bring you back.

CATTUS

Bloodbath drops meat as he walks. Rarely, Cattus visits for 20 seconds. Feed him 3 pieces and he's yours: he follows you, guards you, and gives you the Summoning Altar. Feed him anything else and he kills you. He can be put away in a capsule. He can also die, and he leaves you one last gift. THE BOSS Collect every trophy. Place the altar. Bloodbath is summoned. Phase 1: 100 health. Then he rises as the Fury with 1,000 health, lasers, a ring of fire and ground slams. Win to earn the Sword of Bloodbath (50 damage), the Heart of Bloodbath, and loot. Lose, and you're asked whether to try again or give up. QUIET, SAD THINGS Dev's radio diary. Mara's last broadcast, her voice fading mid-sentence. An empty pen with one animal still waiting for someone.

PROGRESS

A journal, field notes, trophies and the Legend's Crown, feats, diary pages, a survivor board, laps that make the world worse, One Life mode, three difficulty levels, and a guide book. A creative Remote starts any event or structure. REQUIREMENTS Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.20.60 or newer (1.21+ recommended). Turn on both the behavior pack and the resource pack.
