Introduction
Epilon is one of the largest maps available to the public. It's similar in a lot of ways to our 50k map, Paralon. It's a circular world with continents and it's exactly 36,864 blocks in diameter. Like Paralon, it also has climate zones and regional resources. These maps are designed specifically for MMO, RP, Geopolitical, and similar forms of gameplay.
Climate Zones
Biomes are placed according to climate zones--warmer biomes are near the equator (x:0) and biomes get colder as you go further north or south.
Regional Resources
Like Paralon, it also has regional resources. The majority of the map has ore concentrations similar to a vanilla map, but some areas have higher concentrations of certain ores.
Regular Updates
Every 1-3 months, Epilon will receive an update. Updating the map is easy, you do not have to reset the entire world to update it. When an update is released, all you have to do is download the update package and overwrite the old regions in your world folder with the new ones included in the patch.
These updates may include, but are not limited to:
New Biomes
New Islands
New Caves Types
Giant Mountain Caverns
Buried Dinosaur Fossils
Fixes or Terrain Improvements
More Natural Objects--boulders, icebergs, new plants, etc
