Casual Tinkering Mod (1.20.1) – Tear Through Forests and Enemy Hordes

Casual Tinkering Mod extends Tinkers’ Construct with fresh custom tools and powerful weapon upgrades. You can assemble heavy circular saws that cut down trees and hit multiple mobs with wide sweeping strikes. The mod also brings throwing knives and magical gadgets that summon spectral blades during combat. Every new tool works alongside the standard smeltery and tool station systems.

Features:

Circular Saw:

• Acts as a fast woodcutting axe to harvest timber quickly.
• Performs a charged sweep attack that strikes hostile mobs across a wide front cone.
• Crafts with custom parts like saw blades made from molten metals.
• Grants the Sawing modifier to other melee weapons for sweeping charged attacks.

Magic Device:

• Conjures homing magical blades that bypass mob armor when charging attacks.
• Summons extra floating swords on fully charged hits or during off-hand strikes.
• Strikes nearby hostile monsters automatically when upgraded with redstone repeaters and torches.

Throwing Knives:

• Crafts in batches of eight using arrow shafts and arrow heads at the tool station.
• Fires quickly with a short charge and sticks into blocks for easy pickup.

Special Modifiers:

• Precision Sawing turns mined logs directly into usable wooden planks.
• Thermal Ray fires intense heat beams by draining liquid fuels from internal fluid tanks.

How to Use:

1. Build the custom tool parts using the Part Builder or cast molten metal over casts in the Smeltery.
2. Combine handles, blades, and plates at a Tool Forge or Tinker Station to assemble your gear.
3. Hold Right-Click with the Circular Saw or Magic Device to charge special strikes.
4. Check the in-game Materials and You guide book for part statistics and modifier recipes.
