These tiny fighters pick up nearby items to gain armor, weapons, and special roles. They can ride custom animal mounts and defend keeps to stage full sieges. It brings tabletop warfare straight into your survival or creative worlds.

Features:

• Twenty Colored Teams: Craft clay soldiers and dye them into fifteen standard colors, or use coal, redstone, melon slices, and pumpkins to create unique sides.
• Custom Gear Upgrades: Drop items like sticks, leather, diamonds, and bowls near soldiers so they can pick them up to boost their attacks and defenses.
• Unique Tactical Roles: Gold nuggets turn soldiers into kings, clay creates medics that revive fallen allies, and iron nuggets create courtyard guards.
• Craftable Mounts: Build horses, bunnies, turtles, and wall-climbing spiders from clay balls and blocks for your soldiers to ride into combat.
• The Keep: Place a small stone fortress that spawns waves of soldiers, shoots incoming enemies, and defends its king against rival armies.
• Laddermen carry ladders to climb enemy walls and let their squad breach hostile bases.

• Spiders crafted with string can climb over normal terrain walls with their riders.

How to Use:

1. Craft eight basic soldiers by combining one block of clay with soul sand in a crafting grid.
2. Dye your soldiers using standard dye items, melon slices, pumpkins, coal, or redstone to assign them to a team.
3. Sneak while placing a doll to place a full squad of eight soldiers at once.
4. Drop sticks, leather, armor, or special items on the ground nearby so your soldiers pick them up and equip them.
5. Place animal mounts or build a keep to wage battles between opposing teams.
6. Craft a disruptor using clay, a stick, and redstone to clean up the battlefield when the fight ends.

Configuration:

• config/claysoldiers.json: adjust settings such as making the disruptor delete soldiers outright instead of dropping their dolls.
