Java MobCap changes how creatures populate the world so that mob spawning behaves like it does in Java Edition.
It raises the number of monster-type mobs that can exist at once, allowing more than 70 hostile creatures, which helps mob farms and even makes farm designs that only worked on Java Edition possible, such as Enderman farms. Spawn speed and range follow the world’s simulation distance: higher settings give faster, more distant spawns, while lower settings keep them closer and slower. Each dimension keeps its own independent mob cap, and the Nether already exceeds 70 by default, so it is unaffected. Experimental Features must be enabled because the add-on uses scripting APIs.

- MCPE/Bedrock 1.21.20 – 1.21.60
