NullWave
Turn every Nether portal into a ticking time bomb.
NullWave is a hardcore plugin that fundamentally changes how Nether portals work. When a player activates a portal with flint and steel, the portal doesn't let them through — instead, it erupts in a cascade of primed TNT and becomes completely impassable until the wave subsides. Nothing gets through. Not players, not ender pearls, not arrows, not mobs.
Inspired by a real-life machine, NullWave brings chaos, danger, and a brand-new risk to every Nether expedition.
⚙️ How It Works
When a player activates a Nether portal (in the Overworld only):
- 30 primed TNT (configurable) spawn directly inside the portal blocks.
- The TNT detonates in sequence, tearing the portal apart.
- During the NullWave, the portal rejects everything — teleportation is blocked for all entities.
- The portal remains blocked until the wave ends.
No chat spam, no warnings. Just destruction.
🧨 Features
- Portal Lockdown — While a NullWave is active, nobody and nothing can pass through the portal.
- Configurable TNT — Set how many TNT spawn per wave (default: 30).
- Zone System — Restrict NullWave to specific areas with
/nw radius <radius>. Perfect for arenas, minigames, or restricted zones. - Global Mode — Enable NullWave everywhere with
/nw global on. - NullWave Rod — A single-use fishing rod that spawns a fully-formed Nether portal wherever you look. Great for traps and chaos. Supports spawning multiple portals at once, scattered around you at random angles, offsets, and orientations.
- History Log — Every NullWave is logged with timestamp, player, coordinates, and TNT count. View the last 10 with clickable teleport links.
- Zone Management — Add, remove, list, and teleport to NullWave zones with a clean, clickable UI in chat.
