ZentraHolograms

About
ZentraHolograms is an advanced hologram engine built on Minecraft's native Text Display entities. It needs no armor stands, so it runs smoothly with very little server lag. Create, animate and edit holograms with simple commands or an in-game GUI editor.

Features

• Full colour support: MiniMessage, gradients, HEX (&#00FFCC) and legacy (&a) codes
• 23 animations: floating, bobbing, sine wave, slide (up/down/left/right), rotation, pulsing, scaling, fade in/out, rainbow, gradient shift, color transition, typewriter, text cycle, line cycle, shake, glitch, bounce, elastic and keyframe/custom orbit
• Click actions: run a command, run a console command, send a message, play a sound or open a URL on left or right click
• In-game GUI editor: edit any hologram from a menu with /zh edit
• Billboard and facing modes: CENTER, VERTICAL, HORIZONTAL, FIXED, or face the nearest or viewing player
• Per-hologram permission: show a hologram only to selected ranks
• Presets, export and import: save a hologram as a template and reuse it anywhere
• Auto-save and auto-backup: every hologram has its own YAML file, with a backup before deletes and GUI edits
• Integrations: PlaceholderAPI, WorldGuard and Vault (soft-depend)
• Developer API: create, delete, update, load and interact events, plus ZentraHologramsAPI
• Built-in placeholders: %server_online%, %server_max%, %server_time%, %player_name%, %player_ping%

Why ZentraHolograms?

• Less lag than armor-stand holograms, since Display Entities are rendered client-side
• Easy setup through commands or the GUI
• Each hologram is a separate YAML file, so editing and backups are simple
• Hot-reload with /zh reload
• Existing configs are never overwritten on update

Requirements

• Paper/Spigot 1.21+ (Java 21)
• Players need a 1.19.4+ client to see holograms
• Optional: PlaceholderAPI, WorldGuard, Vault

• /zh create <name> [text] - create a hologram at your location
• /zh delete <name> - delete a hologram
• /zh list - list all holograms
• /zh info <name> - show hologram details
• /zh near - show nearby holograms
• /zh edit <name> - open the GUI editor
• /zh tp <name> - teleport to a hologram
• /zh movehere <name> - move a hologram to your location
• /zh clone <source> <new> - duplicate a hologram
• /zh rename <old> <new> - rename a hologram
• /zh addline <name> <text> - add a line at the end
• /zh insertline <name> <no> <text> - insert a line at a position

Permissions

• zentraholograms.use - basic access and help (default: everyone)
• zentraholograms.admin / zentraholograms.* - full access (default: OP)
• Individual permissions (default: OP): create, delete, edit, move, teleport, scale, rotate, animation, line, clone, rename, list, info, reload, preset, export, import, debug, update

Players do not need any permission to see holograms, unless you set one with /zh setperm.

1. /zh create welcome <gradient:#00FFFF:#8000FF>Welcome!</gradient>

3. /zh animate welcome floating 1.0

Click Actions (in the hologram YAML file)
Add this under "interactions:" in the hologram's file:
right-click:
