BlastPotion

Throw a potion, get an explosion. Craft splash potions that blow up wherever they land - on the ground, on a wall or right on top of an enemy. Perfect for PvP arenas, factions, minigames and any survival world that could use a little more chaos.

✨ Why BlastPotion?

Most explosive items are a fixed TNT arrow or a fireball with one power level. BlastPotion lets you decide everything:

• 💥 Any power you want - from a small pop to a crater bigger than TNT, set per potion. Make a whole arsenal: a weak grenade, a mining charge, a nuke.
• 🛠️ Craft them or sell them - give each potion its own crafting recipe, or skip the recipe and sell potions in your shop instead.
• 🎨 Names and lore that look the part - full MiniMessage support: gradients, colors, formatting. Every blast potion glows, so nobody mistakes it for a regular one.
• 🏷️ Rename-proof - a potion renamed in an anvil, or one whose name or lore you change in the config, still explodes.

🛡️ Built for real servers

• Kills count - the explosion is credited to the player who threw the potion, so death messages and kill tracking show who did it.
• Plays nice with protection plugins - a potion thrown where a region does not allow it does not explode.
• No fire, no surprises - the explosion breaks blocks like TNT but never sets anything on fire.

🛒 Made for shops

/blastpotion give works from the console, so any shop plugin can sell potions:

/blastpotion give {player} throwable-tnt 5

Full inventory? The rest lands at the player's feet - nothing a player paid for ever disappears.

⚙️ Simple configuration

One file, one section. A complete potion looks like this:

Change something, run /bpot reload - no restart needed. Made a typo? The plugin tells you exactly what is wrong and where, and keeps the old config running.

📜 Commands and permissions

/bpot is short for /blastpotion. All permissions go to operators by default and are part of blastpotion.*.

• Paper or Purpur 26.2 or newer (Spigot and Folia are not supported)

BlastPotion collects anonymous usage statistics with bStats. You can turn them off in plugins/bStats/config.yml.
