BedrockAssist

Geyser lets Bedrock players join your Java server, but some things can't be translated to the Bedrock client: links don't open, commands have no autocompletion, custom anvil recipes don't show, and mobile players always get the first villager trade. BedrockAssist fills these gaps with native Bedrock menus (Floodgate forms).

Java players are never affected. It works out of the box, no configuration needed.

Modules

• Links (/ba links): Bedrock can't open a link from the game. Links received in chat (and in plugin messages, like /discord or /vote, with PacketEvents) are remembered for 10 minutes and shown in a text field, ready to copy. Optional domain whitelist.
• Commands (/ba commands): Bedrock has no command autocompletion. Your own list of commands with typed arguments (online player list, text, number, fixed choice), then every command the player is allowed to use.
• Enchantments (/ba enchant): the real enchantments and levels of the item in hand, including levels above vanilla (Bedrock shows Silk Touch II as plain Silk Touch) and enchantments added by datapacks or plugins.
• Anvil and smithing table: Bedrock doesn't show custom recipes. When a Bedrock player opens one, they choose between the normal screen and a Combine menu: pick the items from the inventory, see the result and its cost, confirm. The result is computed by the server itself, so plugins that change anvil results (custom enchantments) are supported.
• Villagers on mobile: on Android and iOS, Bedrock always selects the first trade. BedrockAssist shows the trade list as a menu (price, stock, sold-out trades marked); the chosen trade then opens normally. Uses, stock, prices and villager XP stay exactly vanilla.

Everything is grouped in the /ba menu.

Safe by design

• No item leaves the inventory before the player confirms, and the result is computed again at confirmation: built to prevent item duplication, including from modified clients
• Protection plugins are respected: a villager or block your claims plugin forbids stays forbidden
• Commands run with the player's own permissions

Languages
English and French. Each player gets the menus in the language of their game when it is available, otherwise the server language. Texts are editable, and you can add your own language.

Requirements

• Paper or Folia 1.21.4 to 26.x, Java 21+ (tested on Paper 1.21.11, Paper 26.3 and Folia 26.3)
• Geyser and Floodgate on the server
• Optional: PacketEvents 2.14+ to catch links sent by plugins (without it: player chat only)

Commands and permissions

• /ba (or /bedrockassist): main menu. Permission bedrockassist.use, everyone by default
• /ba links, /ba commands, /ba enchant: open a module directly
• /ba reload: reload the configuration and texts. Permission bedrockassist.admin, op by default

Configuration
