SimpleShader
A lightweight, performance-friendly shader pack for Minecraft Java Edition. It keeps the vanilla look and adds a cleaner, more cinematic feel without killing your FPS.
Features
- 🌿 Waving foliage: grass, flowers, crops and leaves sway in the wind
- 🌊 Animated water: gentle waves, a turquoise tint and transparency
- ☀️ Warm and cool lighting: warm sunlight, slightly cool shadows
- ✨ Bloom: a soft glow on bright areas
- 🎬 ACES tonemapping: richer, more balanced colors
- 🎨 Adjustable saturation and vignette
Settings
Everything can be changed in-game under Shader Pack Settings:
- Bloom on/off and strength
- Color saturation
- Vignette strength
- Foliage waving on/off and strength
- Water waves on/off
Installation
- Install Iris Shaders (Fabric/Quilt/NeoForge) or OptiFine.
- Download the
.zipand put it in your.minecraft/shaderpacksfolder. - In-game: Options → Video Settings → Shader Packs, then select SimpleShader.
Notes
- Does not include shadow maps, volumetric lighting or reflections (yet).
- Found a bug? Open an issue or leave a comment, and please attach your log if the shader fails to compile.
