Too Much Interaction

This pack adds many new interactions to the game the player can do, giving players new flexibility for playing the game!

Most of these are at least somewhat experimental, some very experimental, so glitches and weird behavior will definitely happen. None of it should be game breaking though.

Below is every new interaction added. Italics indicate that it is currently toggleable in the dialog settings!

Block Interactions

• Blocks can be placed from on top of stationary Happy Ghasts
• Sulfur Cubes can have Redstone Blocks inside, which power nearby redstone components when aligned properly and the sulfur cube is occupying an empty air block
• Players can open both doors in a double door arrangement in a single click of one of them
• Banners can be placed on top of beds as blankets
• Daylight detectors can become block light detectors by outputting directly to a comparator
• Right-clicking a fence with a lead starts a leash rope without an entity, and can be placed on a fence to create a leash knot. Breaking the leash knot or the fence that the leash originates from returns the lead item (NOTE: Currently buggy, often causes duplicated leashes and other unintended behavior)
• Torchflowers glow for a short time when walked through
• Pitcher plant can consume mobs that fall in and drops loot
• Cakes can be double-stacked in a single block like slabs, and slices are removed from the top down
• Brush can be used to change a painting variant. Painting variants are retained when broken

Mobs/Entities

• Villagers have an easier time going in boats, with the same behavior for camels and happy ghasts. They can be dismounted by leashing the vehicle entity
• Allays given an item while crouching will hold onto its items rather than return them to the player. Will still react to noteblocks
• Allays are able to hold 3 stacks of items instead of just 1
• Allays are now duplicated with echo shards, which also duplicate with them
• Item frames follow the same rules for being broken as cushions, where non-suffocating blocks won’t break them (due to limits, they also don’t break in these blocks even if their support block is removed)
• Players can pet their wolves and cats when the mob is sitting and the player crouches and interacts with them
• Pets can be set to “roam” their surrounding area, where they don’t sit but won’t teleport to their owner. This is toggled by crouching and interacting with a standing pet, doing the same to a pet in "roaming" mode will reset them.
• Totem of Undying can be equipped to Wolves, Cats, Foxes, Iron Golems, and many mounts. Non-foxes will have occasional totem particles to show that they are equipped

Items

• Clocks can be used as stopwatches to measure in-game ticks
• Recovery Compasses can be used to teleport the player back to where they died, which takes 5 seconds to activate. If that death location were to be in the void or in lava and the player does not have fire resistance, it not teleport the player
• Goat horn buff nearby wolves of the owner who played with strength
• Named nametags can have their color dyed, which clears when renaming

Player

• Player is able to cycle item in selected hotbar slot with the items within that inventory column by holding Left+Right and tapping Sprint + Crouch
• Player can put themselves into crawling mode anywhere, even without a block overhead by not moving, holding Forward and Backward and tapping Sneak. Press Sprint or Jump to stand up again
• Player can press the sprint key to quickly hop up ladders. Drains a bit of hunger and can’t activate when you can’t sprint. Allows player to pass 1 block gaps (timing is weird though)
• Seamless nights allow the night to gradually pass rather than instant when sleeping. Disabled by default. Sleeping during weather works like normal
• Players wearing an Elytra while riding a mob can hold Jump to glide that mob using their Elytra. Does not work for Happy Ghast and uses the Elytra's durability. Firework boosting does not work
