Feelix's Stagecoach Mod (26.3, 1.20.1) – Travel Between Villages

Feelix’s Stagecoach Mod adds a vanilla-friendly travel system inspired by fantasy carriage rides. Players can build wooden carriages, discover stops in local villages, and travel between them over a connected road network. Instead of instant teleportation, this mod lets you ride through a passing landscape screen while keeping your character safe until arrival.

Features:

• Eleven Wood Types: You can craft stagecoaches using oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, cherry, bamboo, crimson, or warped wood.
• Village Coach Stops: Every generated village naturally contains a pre-built coach stop matching its regional wood type.
• Timed Travel System: Rides move at a rate of 75 blocks each second, keeping travel grounded instead of skipping space instantly.
• Placement Hologram: Holding a carriage item projects a colored preview on the ground so you know if an area fits the 3x3x6 space requirement.
• Stop Discovery: Interacting with a new carriage triggers horn sounds and road dust particles while adding the stop to your travel log.
• Custom Destination Fares: Travel costs scale with distance, charging experience levels or custom server items before departure.
• Players can search destination lists directly by name and check distance along with total ride duration.
• Provides a travel screen that displays a rolling landscape of trees and hills alongside a trip countdown.
• Canceling a journey mid-ride returns all paid fare costs and places you back at the origin coach.
• Prevents departures for 10 seconds if a player recently took damage from mobs or hazards.
• Protects player coaches so only the builder or a server operator can break them down.

How to Use:

1. Craft a stagecoach item using wood and materials at a crafting table.
2. Hold the coach item and look at open ground to see the green placement preview.
3. Right-click to place the coach in a clear 3x3x6 space, then type a name for the stop.
4. Right-click pre-existing village coaches or player stops across the world to unlock their routes.
5. Right-click an unlocked coach to view available destinations, pick a stop, and pay the fare to begin traveling.
