The Server Manager Panel compass

The first player to join a world becomes the Owner and gets the compass automatically. New admins get one when they are made admin.

• No crafting recipe
• Can't be dropped or put in chests
• Stays with you when you die
• Removed automatically if a non-admin ends up with one

Lost it? Admins can type !compass in chat.

How to use it

1. Hold the compass and right-click (or tap and hold on mobile).
2. Or type !sm in chat, then close the chat window.
3. Pick a section from the main menu.
4. Use the Back button on any screen to return.

Menu sections

• Players: manage any online player
• World Settings: PvP, TNT, mobs, fire, game rules, time, weather, MOTD
• Admin Settings: add or remove admins, give the compass, status bar
• Moderation: mute, ban, unban, freeze and view all lists
• Server Tools: heal, feed, effects, teleport and give items to everyone
• Action Logs: see what every admin did
• Whitelist: control who can join

Player Manager

• Change gamemode, heal and feed
• Give kits (Diamond, Netherite, Starter, OP, Golden Apples) or any custom item
• Teleport a player to you, or yourself to them
• Warn with an on-screen title
• Kick, ban, mute or freeze
• Clear inventory
• Make or remove admins

Admins can't kick or ban other admins. Only the owner can.

Moderation

• Mute: muted players can't chat until unmuted
• Ban: banned players are kicked as soon as they join
• Freeze: locks a player in place
• Ban by name, even if the player is offline
• View every muted, banned and frozen player in one list

World Settings

• Toggle PvP, TNT, hostile mobs and fire spread
• Game rules: keep inventory, mob griefing, daylight cycle, weather cycle, natural regeneration, show coordinates
• Set the time of day and the weather
• Set the world spawn here or at custom coordinates
• Write a MOTD shown to players when they join
• Send a server-wide broadcast
• Remove hostile mobs, passive mobs, dropped items or all entities (with a confirm screen)

Server Tools

• Heal all and feed all
• Give everyone an effect: Speed, Jump Boost, Strength, Haste, Night Vision, Resistance, Invisibility
• Clear all effects
• Teleport everyone to you, to coordinates, or to spawn
• Give all players an item

Status bar

Admins see a live bar on screen showing how many players are online and whether PvP, TNT and mobs are on or off. You can turn it off in Admin Settings.

Installation

1. Download the .mcpack file.
2. Open it with Minecraft Bedrock. It imports automatically.
3. Create or edit a world and activate the Behavior Pack.
4. Load into your world. The first player to join becomes the Owner and gets the compass.

No Beta APIs or experimental toggles are needed. On a dedicated server, make sure scripting is enabled.

Commands

• !sm (also !menu and !manager): opens the panel, admins only
• !compass: gives you the compass, admins only

Tips

• Close the chat before the menu opens so you can see it.
• Add a MOTD so new players see your rules right away.
• Check Action Logs to see who changed what.
• Use the whitelist for private servers and friend-only worlds.
• Only give admin to people you trust. Admins have full control.

FAQ

Who can open the panel?
Only the owner and admins.

Can players craft the compass?
No. It has no recipe and only admins can give it.

What if I lose it?
Type !compass. It can't be dropped, and it stays with you if you die.

Can another admin ban me?
No. Only the owner can kick or ban admins.

Does it work in multiplayer?
Yes. It's built for servers and multiplayer worlds.

Does it work on mobile and console?
It works anywhere Bedrock supports add-ons with scripting.

Are bans saved?
Yes. Bans, mutes, admins, the whitelist and settings are saved in the world.

Notes

• With PvP off, player damage is healed back, so an extremely big hit could still kill.
• Bans and the whitelist are saved by player name.
