Upon loading into the game you can select a race to play as. There are pros and cons to every race so choose wisely. After that you can choose to be a mage and use spells to attack your enemies. You could also choose to be a ranger and use invisibility to sneak up on your opponents. If you are not interested in stealth, you could also wear armor that provides a lot of protection and steamroll those that stand in your way.
