⬇ DownloadThis addon adds Eyeless Jack, a character from the well-known creepypasta, to the game.
Spawning
- Jack will appear in the world at night, roughly once every 4 nights.
Behavior & Combat
- If he notices you:
- The screen will darken and shake, and a blue message will appear above the inventory: "GIVE ME YOUR KIDNEY".
- When he hits you, he immediately applies two effects: Darkness and Blindness for 2 seconds.
- He can hit you from a distance with a short fire sound attack that deals 0 damage (a brief sound effect, about half a second long, that appears to come from nowhere).
- He can teleport you in a random direction from 1 to 9 blocks.
- He has a jumpscare attack where he strikes with a scalpel and deals 5 damage.
- Jack's standard attack damage (not the jumpscare) is 7.
- If Jack kills you, one of two outcomes occurs (50/50 chance):
- He heals his HP with an animation as if eating your kidney and continues to haunt you.
- He runs away, leaving behind a music disc, and disappears.
- Sometimes, if Jack is weakening, he may also run away and leave a music disc behind.
- Be careful—Jack can break doors.
Drops & Items
- If you kill Jack, you receive a scalpel (melee item with 5 damage).
- Using the scalpel to kill certain villagers/mobs (villager, pillager, vindicator, evoker, wandering trader, or witch) can yield a kidney item.
- Eating a kidney instantly restores all hunger but applies Corruption (Instant Damage, ~3 hearts per second) for 1 second and Poison for 9 seconds.
World Additions
- Villages may contain a book written by an unknown author that recounts Jack's backstory collected from villagers.
- Chests in pillager outposts and woodland mansions can contain a painting of Eyeless Jack.
Notes
- Designed to add a tense, horror-themed encounter—not just a visual reskin.
- Enjoy the game!
